The contest is for professionals working in any electronic medium. Projects can originate from production or postproduction facilities, advertising agencies, corporate producers, or individual artists. All entries must have been produced or postproduced during the calendar year Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2001.

All winners receive a trophy and are placed in the permanent collection of the Museum of Television and Radio in New York City.

The Association of Imaging Technology and Sound (ITS) has issued a call for entries for its prestigious annual International Monitor Awards. The competition recognizes outstanding electronic production and post-production.

Each year, trophies are awarded for work in 18 categories of television, film, commercials, corporate communications and interactive multimedia. Within these categories, honors are given to editors, visual-effects artists, graphic designers, animators, colorists, sound designers, audio mixers, composers, producers and directors from around the world.
