The theatrical release of "This Is It" is inching closer each day, and in anticipation of it, another fresh clip from the Michael Jackson's documentary has been released via MySpace and an Oprah Winfrey show. While previous clip presents him singing "Human Nature", this snippet sees the late King of Pop manning the stage once again but this time around to rehearse for "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "They don't care about us".
The clip opens to Michael saying to the crew, "I gotta cue that so you gotta watch me for that growl," before moving on to tease the choreography for the particular piece.
"He was the conductor. He was the man," director Kenny Ortega said about Michael's work for his comeback concert. "He didn't just work through a show, he worked each audience differently. And the band, the dancers, the tech people, the lighting people had to be paying attention to that. He made sure everyone was in touch with that."
He also told Oprah Winfrey on a show aired on the 16th of octomber that Michael Jackson was excited and pumped up about his concert project. Michael called it "a project with real purpose", Ortega said.
Oprah questioned Kenny Ortega about Michael Jackson's last days, and commented on how thin he looks in the film. Ortega said that Michael claimed he was at "his fighting weight to be able to dance". Ortega went on to tell Oprah, "I saw fatigue at times and he had sleepless nights". There was always an ample supply of healthy foods in the refrigerator and "we looked after each other like a family looks out for each other". He said there was no hint at all of any drug abuse problems during Jackson's final days.
